Privacy Policy

The short version

You can use InvoiceKo without an account, and in that case your invoice data never leaves your browser. If you sign in to save invoices, we store exactly what you save, use it only to show it back to you, and never sell it or use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Without an account: your invoice data stays on your device. Invoices you create are kept in your browser's local storage and generated as PDFs locally — their contents are not sent to our servers.
• Anonymous usage analytics: we use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views and events (such as how many PDFs are downloaded) in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or the contents of your invoices.
• Campaign measurement: we use an OpenAI measurement pixel to understand which visits come from our campaigns on OpenAI surfaces. It may use identifiers governed by OpenAI's privacy policy. It never sees the contents of your invoices.
• With a Google account sign-in: your name, email address, and profile picture, as provided by Google. We do not receive your password and cannot access anything else in your Google account.
• Saved invoices: when you click Save while signed in, the invoice you saved (including any logo you added) is stored on our servers, linked to your email address.

How we use it

Solely to provide the service: authenticating you, storing your saved invoices, and showing them back to you. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use invoice contents for any other purpose.

Storage and security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on our servers hosted with DigitalOcean. Sign-in sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies; our analytics (Plausible) is cookie-free, and the campaign-measurement pixel may set its own identifiers as described above.

Deleting your data

You can delete any saved invoice from the My Invoices page at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent. To delete your account data entirely, contact us and we will remove all invoices and account records linked to your email.
